Pattern Cutter

MOWALOLA is looking for a highly skilled and detail-obsessed Pattern Cutter to join their studio team. Working closely with their design and development team, the Pattern Cutter will be responsible for translating designs into accurate, wearable patterns and delivering factory-ready technical documents that ensure flawless execution during production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop precise patterns based on sketches, draped samples, or technical packs, maintaining the integrity of Mowalola’s distinctive shapes and fit.

• Execute expert-level measuring, cutting, and fitting, particularly for bespoke VIP garments and complex silhouettes.

• Ensure clear and standardised technical marking on all patterns (including grain lines, seam allowances, notches, drill holes, fold lines, and construction notes) for seamless factory interpretation and production.

• Collaborate with the design team to test and refine fit and construction, applying changes to patterns with precision.
